More mopey morbid melodramatic stuff, big surprise. X)

I have spent waaaay too much time on this, time to call it finished and move on already. I've been working on this off and on for a few months between other projects. The general narrative is that the man's wife is sick and dying. Normal remedies have failed and she continues to worsen, so he's been doing everything he could possibly think of to try and save her, looking through books of ancient, holistic, and magic healing, all to no avail. Does he keep looking through his books trying to find the answer at the last minute, or give up and spend the last few moments his wife has at her side? OH THE MELODRAMA. I don't know if any of that reads at all in the final image. ^^;

That's how lovely it is.

I like this a lot.

Don't you remember being a little kids when your teeths would fall out and grow back and you put the old one under the pillows so da ancient norse god Orthar the tooth collector give you a pickel nickel?

Oh, beautiful. And achingly tragic.

It reminds me of Neverwinter Nights.
Like, at some point, some adventurer will come along and quest for the real cure, and save the day.

Poor guy. This is great though. I love all of the little accents.

I'm a FEMALE GAMER, so I MUST be ugly or crazy.
I SPEAK MY MIND, so I MUST be a bitch.
I'm YOUNG, so I MUST be naive.
I'm MEXICAN, so I MUST have hopped the border.

All the lovely details like the ring, and their expressions, too... heartbreaking.

That's melodramatic, yes.
But that's striking as well, and powerful. The game you used with lights and colors is amazing!
You are a real genius.

You ruined my day and made it so much better at the same time. =( I love the clear sky as well as the pale glow used for the sick.

Very beautifully portrayed. I love how the light falls on her face.
