Apparently my scraps folder doubles as an embarassing fan art folder.
 This is fan portrait for the band Canadian folk-metal band Blackguard ( [link] ), because they're fun and awesome and my friends and I love them (and my friends insisted I draw them ). Yes, I know the boat looks stupid and doesn't make structural sense, but boats are hard to draw and I was too lazy to put in the proper research on something that's just a dopey fanart.  Blackguard will be touring North America twice this winter: first in November with Ensiferum, Ex Deo and Hypocrisy, and again later on in Feb with Epica and Daath. Yessss.  This is in scraps, because even though I like how it turned out, I'd feel silly putting this in my main gallery... >_>;; (yes i know this is stupid. shut up.) eta: I sent it to them a few days ago and they absolutely loved it. I  them. XD |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
